Sun, 9 April 2006 This week on The Spin, Henrietta Hairband shipped Richo and Little Boy up North, and stepped into the host's chair for the first time (yes, six years of faithful deputising finally paid off... hang in there Pete!). Henrietta, Boydy and Jenny dissected and deliberated the issues of the week. And there were many! We saw a 10cm parrot stymie the state's green energy plans, the razzle dazzle of a third rail track for Dandenong announcement gazumped, and even the Bible's bad boy, Judas, sought some spin-doctoring salvation, claiming he was just "following orders". If that wasn't enough, the panel discussed why it took a one inch pile worth of testimony to say 'I can't remember' and 'No one told me about it', previewing Mark Vaile and Alexander Downer's visits to the Cole Inquiry. We had a good chuckle at the audacity of Downer to both say he would not pre-determine the outcome of the Cole inquiry, adding separately that he would be vindicated, proving he's a dab hand at the bet-each-way philosophy. Remember: There will be no The Spin on Easter Sunday - Sunday 16 April. Chin up!! Category: general -- posted at: 2:00 PM Comments[0] |
