The Spin has never said it provides value for money and yet with one week to go before we pull up stumps the response from Triple R listeners to Radiothon 2006 has been fantastic. It is might be because this Sunday was Boydy's final show, or because he ranted about the AWB to background music provided by his favouite band, Simply Red. Most probably it was because you all love Triple R and that made you give your money to the station. Without your support the station could not continue. From all of us thank you so much. RRR Management said we had over 100 Spin subscribers come on board this week. It is a fantastic effort and much appreciated. We've had some lovely messages from subsrcibers wishing The Spin all the best. We'll read them out next week during our final two hour show. Today's final broadcast was bittersweet: I was excited to attend the OB, but oh, so sad. I will sorely miss you all. Delilah, thanks for the gender balance (and balance in general!), and Richo, you made my Sundays!!! I've been a subscriber to the R's since I arrived in Melb 6 years ago, but your show is top of my listening list. Allegedly has become my favourite word.
